Frank told me about this forum aka 92Nissannx. I just got a hold of a 91 GTI-R
from a friend of mine. Car is scary quick and extreamly light should make for a
strong track weapon. I am a member and moderator of the Toronto Subaru forum
as well as a member of S2K forums. I have had numerous cars but this has to be the most unique. Some of the mods are as follows:
CAR HAS 55K KM'S
HKS front mount
SHORT SHIFTER
Apexi Power FC
Engine rebuild in Japan forged pistons
HKS Cams
Samco Hose Kit
3.5" 5zigen Downpipe
3" 5zigen exhaust system from the cat back (cat has been removed but included)
NGK Iridium Spark plugs (just changed)
NGK Plug wires
Upgraded turbo: Garrett (it is running 1.6 Bar of boost) will be turned down to 1.2 bar for track use!
Footwork:
Very Aggressive Aftermarket clutch (grabs very well)
16" Rays Gram Lites w/ Hankook PS2s (
JIC Magic coilovers
Project Mu pads
Cusco underbody bracing
Cusco strut bar
Will post pics soon
Talk to you later

nice! and welcome. its always good to see another north american R owner. even better that you have track racing in mind. do you do solo II, solo I, track days or wheel to wheel?
i am planning quite a few handling upgrades for my R in the coming summer so i will let you know what makes noticeable handling improvements.
I spend about 10-15 days a season doing track days. Thanks for the comments guys. My first mods are going to be to strip the interior turn down the boost etc
and grab a couple of race buckets
