z32 piston issue

any of you guys use z32 pistons on a re-build?

i am using them and i went to assemble some piston and rods yesterday only to notice that there is 0 clearence between the bushing end of the rod and the piston

there should be a little play about a 1/4 of a inch atleast from what ive seen on every other piston/rod

what have you guys done about this, this is the only thing holding me back from driving my baby. if you even think you know someone that used z32 pistons with gti-r rods please ask them to pm me

no one ever ran into this problem eh...

ok well i figure i will just weigh and measure the rod ends and just put them on a belt sander

take X amount off each side maybe 1/16th of a inch on each side.

clean up the burrs with some very light sand paper and then make sure they all weigh within .15 grams of each other unless the first weights i write down have a different average of difference

unless of course anyone has any better sugestions?
