Quick measurement help

Can someone take a quick measurement for me? I need to know the distance from the front axles to the shift lever. A rough estimate would be nice, but the more accurace the better.

Even better yet, has anyone ever seen a chassic diagram for this car? They typically use them in body shops to straighten frames.

could you be a little moe specific? what part of the front axles? and by shift kever you mean the point under the stick shift itself? i have a set of original factory sevice manuals so i should be able to get this info for you.

what are you up to, if you dont mind me asking?

The measurement I needed was from the centerline of the front axles to the actual gear change lever inside the car. ideally this measurment would be taken down the center of the car.

I am measure this to determine driver's seating postion relative to the front axles. The gear shift is a common point in most cars and allows for easy comparison between models.
