up for sale is my genuine quaife gearbox for a Pulsar GTiR. less then 10000 km on it since i got it. reasonable offers please. no lowballers. please send a email to no_boost@hotmail.com if you have anyqueestions. Gearbox is still in car but can be removed if serious buyer. pics on request. these boxes are not cheap so if interested please dont waste my time. I am in no hurry to sell but will if i get a good price. ******$2500 obo******. i have been getting lots of lowball offers and i am not going to go much below $2500. i dont have to sell this gearbox i just dont need it anymore. i may get another pulsar i am undecided right now. if someone wants to be reasonable with the offers i will sell it. Also has a Nismo LSD installed in it.

my opinion is that the box is great.. i am not sure what u r wanting to know. the box is in great shape no problems at all. i am selling the box because i am parting my pulsar. i am moving on to a r32 and i wont need it. i am trying to raise funds for a hks box for the skyline so i have to sell my pulsar stuff.

Well for the money i just want make sure its a justifiable purchase. One of the thing im looking for is strength . Not so much in the gearing durability but in the casing because i know they break still and they are just as prone. Its been awhile since i read up on the box strength. I forgot who it was testing out certain methods of reinforcing it. Thats my only worry.

that i do understand. i have never launched this trans above 2000 rpm. it has been babied. if u like i will also include a spare end casing with the trans. that is the part that seems to break. the casing has alwyas been the weakest link on the pulsar. i have also heard of people stripping gears on them as well. but with an uprated gearset that shouldnt be a problem here. there have been a few guys making weird braces for the R trans but i havnt found anything that officially works yet. just dont launch hard and u should be fine. but again that said i have also seen a gtir launched at 7000rpm and all that happened was the 4 tires locked up and the car jumped off the ground about an inch and a half. so when it comes to trans weakness some are good some are bad. personally i have had no probs and i dont launch hard.

it is not a seq box. it is a stock box with a full uprated quafe gearset. not sure what power and tourque it will hold but plenty a guys in the uk run well over 400 and 500 hp just fine with these boxes.
