GTi-Rb update!!@!!!

so, its all back togather and runs and drives.... really fast too.. car started right up. i let it come to temp, then it just started lopeing. thought maybe like a vac leak or somehting. but nope, it has cams!!!! dont know what kind, havnt popped the valve cover off yet. Also, the tranny is very close ratio. im at 3k at 50mph. 1st through 4th is amazing, instant power and hard pull. this thing is a light to light killer. freeway driving is kinda crap since 60mph it almost 4krpm. Gonna clean some more stuff up, build a real intake, do some more maintainance and then do the 1 bar loop.

get a boost controller and do it correct... 1 bar loop is not the way to do it...

Were is your idle when you first start cold and were does it when it's warm?

idles around 1300 cold, 900 warm

Everything sound good! If you could find one there ar alot of RA trannys out there. Does your car come with a front LSD?

I have a spare RA tranny, and im going to pick up another tomorrow hopefully to build with ppg gears. Havin a blast with the short gearing ***.
