Engine oil capacity is 3.7 litres with filter change or 3.5 litres with out filter change.

Gearbox takes 4.3 litres

Transfer box takes 1.5 litres

The rear diff takes 1.0 litre

Edited to correct mistake!

1st: 11140-54C00 - GTIR Oil dipstick p/n

2nd: Engine oil for the SR20DET is 3.7L total (including filter) or 3.5L without filter (from the Nissan shop manual). 3.2/3.4 is for the SR20DE.

Just FYI, 3.7L = 3.9qt or 0.98 gallons. I don't remember last time I saw oil sold in liters here in the States.

You know you're right, I thought it was 3.7 litres myself but I checked on the gtiroc forum before posting, Just to make sure I was right lol, They have it wrong .

Mind you it was still a good starting point lol, Don't want to go over filling it do we , That's what the dip sticks for anyway .
