Help needed...

Ok what I'm trying to do is simply change the rev limiter on my realtime. The bin that is on it is supposed to be for a stock program. I'm using tunerproRT and trying to figure it all out. When I go to open the bin it comes up with two different ones. One is apyp and the other is arap. I'm not sure which one I should go to, but they are both different. Also how do I know what to change the numbers to in the rev limiter RPM? Right now in the apyp bin it says the rev limiter is 173387.50 RPM.

If anyone can help guide my computer illiterate ass through this I'd be greatly appreciative.

Ok I got all that sorted out with help from Ben, thanks alot man.

NOW I'm trying to put the tuned NA bin on the ecu. I have it on the laptop and it's on tunerproRT but how do I put it on the ecu itself? When I hit the thing that says Verify Emulator Ram Contents against Current Bin, the window pops up telling me that tunerpro has encountered a problem and needs to close.

Use EmUtil for uploading a complete new bin to the ecu. See quickstart guide for instructions. Got the rev limiter figured out?

we got the rev limiter figured out I believe. He was able to pull the bin off the emulator and tweak it. I was wondering when you load a completely new bin does it just overwrite the old one, so no need to clear it off or anything.

So is Emutil part of tunerpro or something different? I guess I should check the quick start thing again huh.

Thanks for the help guys. And if your wondering the laptop is a dell latitude cpi. I think it might be the first one too lol. Like I told Ben though I can't complain it was free.

Ok I read the quickstart thing again. I downloaded the emutil thing before but I don't think I put it on my laptop, so I'll download it here and put it on later. Right now I'm fixing my massive coolant leak.

Update, I was able to put the tuned bin on the ecu, but it won't let me change the rev limiter on it for some reason. It said it couldn't write it and then said it couldn't save the bin when it closed. It seemed to work fine when I did it to the stock bin that was on the ecu.

Did tuner pro tell you hardware was connected and that you were emulating ??? Every now and then I had to play with it to get it to locate the hardware.

Yeah it does those no problem. When I change the rev limiter and tell it to update, it says something about not being able to write file, yet at the bottom says update completed. However when I turn tunerpro off it says the file has been changed and asks if I want to save it, I tell it yes and it says it can't do it. After that when I open tunerpro again it tells me the rev limiter is back at 7800.
