Calum, I've talked to you in the past about doing some custom software for the realtime. My big hang up was the consult part of the software and developing that side of the code. But, if you've already got a C# demo app that works relatively well, I could start with that. Would you want to collaborate with me on this? By the way, did you get my email with my excel sheet for calculating TP and eventually correction values?

What you need in LogWorks to do map tracing is just adding TP (load) to the data that CalumSult is streaming. On S14/B14 ecus this is dead easy as TP is already available to stream. On S13/B13 ecus you need to modify the rom to stream TP. I'll work on both of the above when I get some freetime, and post how this works in LogWorks.

Basically, you can make 2D tables in LogWorks. With TP added as one of the streamed variables you can setup a table with the exact same axis as your real fuel or timing map. Then as LogWorks fills in the table with the real points your using. Slick. Picture the table below, but with the y-axis being TP instead of pressure. Oh, if you now add an aux box that can log pressure (boost), you've got a really potent tool.

If I add TP to the streamed list, I guess I'll get around to making a little map tracing screen too.

Oh, Innovate is promising an SDK for writing serial protocol handlers directly into LogWorks3. That would be cool, then you can ditch CalumSult and connect LogWorks directly to a consult port. When they release that I'll write the plug-in. However, their product development seems to run at about the same speed mine does.

Ok, I have Logworks3 and and would LOVE to have that plug-in.

Any news on the development of the consult connection via logworks3?

I'd love to hear that you've made our ecu's chewy and delicious like little cakes (reference to bill gates/seinfeld commercial)

On the TP, let me make a new post.

On LW3- yea, they still haven't released the LW3 SDK. Innovates development schedule seems to mimic mine: slooooow.

Bumping an old thread because I finally got around to trying this and it works GREAT!

This is a 1st -> 4th gear pull on my 94 VE running a Calum Realtime with a base tune, and an Innovate LC-1 / XD16 combination. The tune looks pretty rich to me, AFR's are in the low 12's in 3rd gear at WOT, and high 11's in 4th at WOT.

Have they released anything yet? Did that "other method" for steaming S13 TP values into LogWorks become available yet from Calum? Anyone doing this? ^_^

I have downloaded LW3 but not yet installed it. So, yes, it seems to be available. Sorry, I don't know anything about streaming S13 TP data.

Calum, did you ever post somewhere how to grab TP from the consult and stream it to Logworks 2 with the hacked calumsult version?

So, how do you stream TP on a B14? Anyone? You don't really need map tracing if you know the TP.

far as I know for b14 it's already there. you just have to use the version calumsult that has a guage for it. I dunno if calum has pasted that version on the forum yet. I was in the middle of getting my TP setup. But my xdf doesn't have the table it needs. so I either gotta mod my xdf or get the new xdf calum has. I wan't to use mine because it's already plugged in for launch control. either way I have to plug something in unless calums new xdf has both the table and the LC

Calum mentioned to me that it is posted somewhere, but a quick search didn't turn it up. If you could send me a copy, I would appreciate it. JWright05@gmail.com

Saving it to file can be a little tricky. I had to save it 3 times till it downloaded it all to file. Make sure it's like 996kb or something like that once you save it. Other times it would only save like 10% of the file.
