RT bank8?

I have installed a b13 RT pcm and am haveing trouble with getting the emulator up and working. I have run through the setup opperation and everything went well. During the initial setup all whent smooth, the car will start and run although poorly. Anytime I try to initialize the emulator I get a popup that tells me "you screwed up I think. Perhaps you meant to use bank 8" I can find no info on this either in the help menu or in the forum. Also, any changes made in the tables does not appear to effect the car, IE. rev limit can be set to any number with no change. So obviously the emulator is not working. Anyone have any idea on this? Any help is appreciated.

Use EmUtil to load the bin the first time. See the quickstart guide. Then verify you can get a consult connection in the car. Then load TP in these steps:

-load XDF
-load bin
-then turn on emulation mode (the little chip button)
-then make changes to the rev limiter and verify its working

I've noticed with TP, even when I'm emulating and it says upload successful, sometimes it doesn't make the changes. So I'll make my change, save the file, then upload.
