Answer my questions please!

Hey calum, havent repsonded to emails so i figured id try this. Need 650cc's at whatever fuel pressure you reccomend, Z32 Maf, T3,T4 50trim .48ar.

Also wanted to know what codes etc i need to run nissan datascan for maptracing/ datalogging.

Also when datalogging with nissan datascan would i be able to see if my cam timing is off? IE. If my cams were installed wrong, would i be able to see the loss in total timing through the datalog, or is it only refrenced from base timing?

Any word on nistune? Is it fully funtional for Calum Realtime S14's?

Last question about tuning. Do you just do a pull, say for full boost, then look at your TP on that boost and adjust accordingly until full throttle is max tp? Also when adjusting fuel/ timing values are you just holding the vaccum at for example 10 throughout the rpm range, then adjusting the cells that highlight at that load?

Email is tanmans14@hotmail.com if you need to send the tune that way.

Hi Tanner,

What brand injectors?

Datalogging will only show you what the ecu _thinks_ the timing is, not what it actually is. It assumes your timing is set correctly.

Nvm, ill just scale the k value myself with the same timing values. thanks man. Blaa just went out there, i can get idle fuel good with K value, but cant nget part throttle, i have to end up changing the fuel map big time in order to get major changes in part throttle. Got any base tunes?

Ok man, thanks. I gotta get datascan first anyways which should come in next week, so hopefully ill have my base tune then too . Thanks man. If its possible id like to be able to reach 420-450 or so later on with the injectors, so whatever fuel pressure will get me there would be awesome to start from. Thank you very much, i realize i cant reach it on this turbo, i just might change to a holset later down the line.

K value
Latency (not scaled, this is a physical characteristic of the injector)
TP Scale (fuel and timing)
TTPMax
Engine Cranking Injector PW
Cold Start Timing Retard (you can just zero this out)

...and thats about it. For very large injector changes if the car has problems idling but runs great under power I hand adjust the lower portion of the VQ map.

Just give me a short run down of what they do. I figure ill get all my questions out if just adjust it myself. Sorry for all the noob questions.
this is all i know/ think i know
1. K value- injector scaling
2. latency- like you said physical charactersitic, set it to what deactwerks reccomends.
3. ttp max- no idea, my rpm's all say 00 in this scale and goes up to 136...
4. I dont have a cold start timing map in my S14 xdf. I have timing advance vs temp.. should i just zero that?
5. Also i dont have a vq map, it says VQ table, idk if your talkking about primary fuel map or what. Thist able has the rpm points vs the voltage of the maf (or that's what i think it is).
6. In my xdf it has injector scaled constant, with a question mark nexxt to it so lol, idk what that is but i assume it scales the injectors but i wasnt sure to touch it or not.
7. What does the VE map do? Is that the S14 equivalent of the VQ map? My VE map has weird tp values in it that are pretty different.
8. What are you using to copy paste maps? I dont see anything in the s14xdf, also what maps are you copy pasting? Just secondary fuel and ignition?

Again i apologize for so many questions, i just wanna get them all worked out beforee i go head first into it. If i had an S13 information would be a lot more available but the s14 xdf is quite different from what people describe to me. Thank you very much.
Tanner.
