Map trace follows only one path

I just got my b13RT 2 weeks ago. I tried tuning using Nissan Datascan and TunerPro RT. The base tune from Calum is OK, but when I trace the fuel using Datascan it just follows one diagonal path from corner to corner. It doesn't matter what the load is, it alway follows a linear diagonal path. I'll try to get a screen shot up later, but I know its not normal.

The trace stays on that path when I let off the accelerator(instead of shifting over to the left most column for TP), the computer still dumps fuel as if the engine is still under load. When I shift, it always backfires and actually blew the gasket on the turbo and by the cat.

I tried changing the MAF for another one and same problem.

Any theories why this is happening?

Is this a stock B13 (with bolt-ons) and Calum's standard tune? The trace does not look right. When you open the throttle, the trace should move horizontally across to the 104 column, then straight down as RPMs build. I'm wondering if the specs for Map Trace are set correctly.

Yes, that's what I'm wondering. I've looked on youtube and seen how the ECU handles load on the map. Mine behaves in a linear fashion wether its at WOT or no load.

I'm wondering if it is a problem with datascan not reading the ECU properly(not likely), or an ECU issue, or a sensor problem

Oh, its a b13 with Avenir swap, SE-R MAF.

I have the same thing with my S13. I, too, think it's a datascan problem not using the correct address to pull the TP from my 62 ECU.

Calum, Can you provide us with the correct address for reading TP.

JROCK, what ECU are you using?

What TP address are you using? Are you using the address listed in this thread?

I sold the ECU cause I no longer have the car. It was a b13RT ecu.
