real time + consult questions

I have a real time ecu with the usb cable. Can I use the usb as the consult cable or is that strictly for loading files?

If I can use it for that, what is the best program and the best free program?

Yeah, definitely. One of the big bonuses of the real time is usb connectivity for consult, datalogging, whatever.

I just use Nissan Data Scan (like $30). Calum has a thread somewhere with different consult options.

Thanks, I tried some free programs, but I didn't try too hard, none of them worked. 30 bucks isn't bad, I think I can handle that.

I have a basic tune from calum, it's the popular z32 maf,b13, 370cc injector tune. It seems to run a little rich, but I'm really impressed by it. I get a few flames at times. My gas mileage is at about 24 right now, but I am giving it juice everywhere I go and I speed. I haven't tried putting around, because that's not what I did all this work for.
