egr and rear o2 cel kill

how does this work? i have RT v1 and want to know if it get's reset every time the car turns on/off.... or if it just ignores it and no flags go up

just preparing to get inspected

FYI calum Rt no workey for getting an odb2 car inspected legit...... found out the hard way still flags for egr and rear o2 as being incomplete even though light isn't on.....

If you clear the codes, the ECU sets those to not ready, until you drive a certain distance, or turn the car on and off so many times.

Exactly. I believe it's a total of 15 start/stop cycles with minimum distances of 15~20 miles? Look in the FSM it'll tell you.

have no egr or cat haven't reset ecu in months. no light still flagged as incomplete on those 2

Follow the Test Drive Pattern dave mentioned. VERY interesting! Hadn't known about this particular instruction, but I'm anxious to try it. What's even MORE interesting, is that the test drive pattern shows that EVAP is N/A.
