Weekend from HELL!!

Not to go into the lenghthy story. Last weekend at NHIS. Qualifying lost motor mount bolt, Qualifying race plug wire came off, Sundays race suspension failure, and to top it off got a flat on the trailer on the way home.

Here are a few somewhat entertaining videos. Starts were great the rest sucked.

plug wire came off,
Exact same thing happened to me at Summit. Never happened before in 60+ weekends.

Strut bolt slipped on the side we repaired at Mid- O. Bolt must of backed, it was the mount closed to the fire wall. For anyone who ever needs one go to advance auto parts 10x1.25 thread pitch 90mm long.

One of these days my buddy Joe is going to realize that the word "preparation" does not necessarily end with the letter "H"... - GA

Dang it.... I know I put my back into the tightening of the bolts. You'd think my fat back could make it tight enough. I somehow feel responsible.....Cause I know you didnt go back and check it after Mid-O

What a lousy crewman I am

Joe...prepared...means an extra pack of smokes in the glove box

What's funny is the bucking bronco kept with that 2g Integra for a while...

The sound the motor was making on the straights was hilarious though. Reminds me of camping out on the limiter in the G6-R for miles on end on Chicago's freeway system...

How many cigarettes were you smoking in the second video towards the end? There was so much smoke, you had to pull off the track...

BTW, I like the angry muttering while the other cars drive by. I know that feeling...
