Next Race: Norcal Hyperfest

From the ruthless promotions department:

Well, it is Hyperfest time again, this time at the famous northern California track formerly known as Sears Point. The series is coming down to the wire and there's drama in the last few races.

Series points leader Naji Dahi is electing to skip the long drive from Long Beach and drop the Sears event. This means there could be a three way tie for first place coming out of Hyperfest with Naji, Team Strictly Big and the Dog Car of Mike Kojima all tied heading for a showdown at Buttonwillow. But there are some spoilers in the mix: Tom Paule has got the #57 back into championship form and Sheening Lin will come out of hibernation to race this weekend in the #98. The only driver with experience on this track, Sheening is the pre-race favorite.

Will the spoilers spoil? Are we set for a "jihad" at Buttonwillow? I know I've got my sword ready. Gggaaaarrrr!

Is the actual se-r cup race on saturday or on sunday? What time roughly, I would love to come out and watch.

Both Days! I don't have the schedule yet, but it will likely be in the afternoons 1-4 pm on Oct 25 and 26. I will let you know when I get the official schedule.

I just got the schedule for this weekend's event:

Saturday:
Warmup: 8 AM
Qualifying: 10 AM
Race: 12:55 PM

Sunday:
Warmup: 8 AM
Qualifying: 10 AM
Race: 12:35 PM
