I hope the east coast series catches on and adopts our rules set more or less because what I would eventualy like to see is having a runoffs style race at the convention every year to determin the national champion. It could be one of the run groups at the track event.
1st things first. People don't know there is an East coast option! I've been building SRs for 6 years. I found out today there is an SERcup anywhere outside southern Cali !
People don't know!

Well, I have been telling everyone I know. How else should we publicize? Keep in mind our advertising budget is $0.

Well, one of the better ways is to have everyone post on Nissan Forums about the series to generate interest. Personally I belong to club240.com and FreshAlloy. I can make some posts on FA if others want to hit up NICO and others.
This is a pretty cheap (as in $0) way of generating some East Coast interest. I would like to eventually compete, and thus have a strong interest in the success of the EC SE-R Cup. I would also be willing to spearhead an advertising campaign (as outlined above) with assistance from Tim.
Personally, I don't have time to post-whore everywhere, so I'm more than happy if people spread the word.
You callin me a post-whore? You talkin to me?
I don't mind to help spread the word. As yet, no responses to my post, but I am subscribed to it and hope to see something soon. I have also sent a few PM's, but no response there either.
Anyone on NICO wanna post something? I hate to sign up for another forum just to make one post...I'll be labeled a "noob" and shunned like non-alcoholic beer!

Try moving your post to the advanced 240 forum where the smart 240 guys hang out instead of the general forum.
Most 240 guys I talk to don't know they can run in SRX.
I haven't had much luck really...one guy responded with this:
"Because a large majority of FA forum members are either posers, into drifting or drag racing. I've seen little evidence of any road racing interest. Sad but true."

I bet the advanced guys might think a little different and it would not be that off topic right? It is an advanced subject.
