Toyo Tires Discount

Has anyone of the WCoast guys tried to get the $15 discount per tire like the Honda Challenge is getting?

It looks like only 2 sizes are available for the SE-R Cup. Is this true? I ask because my teammates and I are thinking about running Spec-V 17's on our SRX car to accomodate wider tires.

You're not quite understanding the list there. You can run any size Toyo Proxes RA1 you want since you are in SRX. The list is just an example of the tires they are going to reduce the price on. If you want to run 17s, you are welcome to. I'd suggest 235/40R17 or 275/40R17 so you can take advantage of the reduced cost.

Remember you will need to have at least 2 other SRX competitors to qualify for the money though.

My question was about whether or not the discount applied to other sizes for SE-R Cup. The above comments gave me the answer I was looking for: that other tire sizes are discounted for SE-R Cup as well as the listed samples. I know that I can run any tire size I want, as long as the wheel isn't more than 10" wide.

And as for 275/40R17...sheesh! What wheel width would I need to run that tire width...8.5"? That sure would make for some good traction!

Meaning I will have to compete against 2 other SRX cars at an event to be eligible for "Toyo Dollars?"
