HAHA...That would be me! And yes my offer still stands to anyone here too.

In case you didn't get the story from the post, here's the rundown:

I own a '91 SE-R and it's my "new" daily driver. It replaced my '71 Datsun 510 which i now want to turn into a dedicated race car. I'm undecided on whether i want to race in SRX and put a SRDET (which i don't have...and don't think i can cough up the money to get) in it or vintage race it with a modified L18 (which came with the car when i bought it, it just needs to be "built." I like the vintage racing scene just because the cars have so much history behind them. You can check them all out here www.bsedan.com if you're interested. But then i like the new technology of a sr20det in an old car like my 510 too.

Anyway, If anyone is interested in forming a team, we could all split the bill(s), split the driving (of the race car and the tow vehicle, which i also have), and split the lodging, and split everything else there is to split in the racing world. I know this is all a pipe dream, but it never hurts to ask.

Let's make this happen!

Yes to those and Naji as well.

Tony's son Aaron plans to get his licence as soon as posible, he has his learners permit now. He is going to start of in SR. How soon can he do HPPE's?

So we should have lots of SR cars as well with Goo. Boonie and John coming in.

If he has any karting or other "racing" experience, he can qualify for NASA's Junior Achievement Program and possibly get his race license before his driver's license. The program is mostly for the Fran-Am types who start karting at 3 years old, but I believe there is one HC kid back east who did it.

Basically, each case is reviewed individually. Here's the link: http://www.nasaproracing.com/news/ju...hievement.html

Otherwise, he can start HPDE as soon as he gets his driver's license (and gets off the learner's permit).
