What dataloggers do you guys use?

I have a techtom mdm-100 and was interested in getting something to log my ecu with. Nprobe was first on my list but its pretty expensive and then I saw some info on making your own logger. I could get the parts but I don't know how to put them together in a circuit board, or where I can get the CONSULT plug. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I made the consult boxes for a while, but they're a pain in the ass to make multiples. Making just one is pretty easy, its just time consuming. I could put some "build your own" kits together if there was intrest, or you can buy them preassembled from http://www.plmsdevelopments.com/consult_if.htm You'd need a laptop of course. For software, there are a couple of options but I write my own so I don't really keep up with what else is out there. The conZult stuff is really spiffy looking, if I was going to spend money on software thats what I'd buy. Here's an older pic of my software (I need to upload a new version sometime, lol):

Hey calum,

My version of the Calumsult looks nothing like that. Do you happen to have a newer version available?

Just posted it.

http://web.utk.edu/~cjohns32/calumsult/CalumSult.exe

The installer is updated with it too. It should be more stable, plus dump roms a little faster. Try setting the delay to 0, that is stable for me now. It dumps 4 bytes at a time now too. If the gauges don't work its because they're trying to read a sensor thats not there (but if your using a B13 or I think B14 that shouldn't be a problem). Datalogging is almost done, maybe this weekend. Then integrating with dual romulators, then adding an extra inputs. Its been a while since I've tinkered with it, but I've got the next couple of weekends lined up for it.

edit: I'll update the source code on the next version.
