Where to get a Consult Interface

Hey guys I just got a pda that has an OBD2 scanner program that will monitor settings and also let you read and delete CEL codes. I have a cable that goes from usb to serial but not serial to the consult port. What do you all use and where did you get it?

I have one of Calum's homebrew boxes that I use with a serial cable and USB-serial converter on either a PC with ConZult SX (http://300zx-twinturbo.com/conzult/) or my Powerbook with ConSultan (which is made by a forum member). I really need to get back in touch with that guy to help him develop the Mac version further...

No, any standard consult interface will work. I'm not sure if Calum is still making them anymore. There are other places to pick up the interface online- I'm not sure where off-hand.

works well, only has serial connector though, you still might want to purchase a usb connector for it as well

If it does have a CONSULT port in addition to the OBD-II port, then YES it will.

I can't believe how I've lived this long without one.

Oh well, it'll be a little while before they build another
chunk of them, but I've got one on the way now.

FWIW, I think it's beyond cool to be able to get all the
data you ever wanted off your B13 DE(T). To be able
to see the timing curve, the injector duty cycles, etc,
is hot sh*t. For all the fun things I've spent a few bucks
on for my car, I'm going to take a chance and say this
piece is #1 on my bang for the buck list.

Its $100AU plus shipping, and $6 extra if you use paypal. Or you can build your own.

Heres the link: http://www.plmsdevelopments.com/consult_if.htm
