My ECU Blew....oppss

I blew my ECU calum and I wouldnt like to buy another one. It blew, and it is 100% my fault. I plugged the power transistor into the O2 harness and vice versa. This then blew out something inside the ECU, probably the ignition circuits or something. I blew my reprogrammed ecu and a stock one before i caught on to what was wrong.

I have another stock ecu that runs the car, but barely. DE ECU runing a VE. I would like to order another VE ECU ASAP. I owe you an ECU already. Can you fix blown circuits on the ECU??

Your daughterboard is probably just fine. I can't repair the ecu, but I can move the daughterboard to a new ecu. I think I've got an extra core in stock, let me check tonight and make sure. If so just mail me the dead ecu and I'll move the daughterboard and send it back to you, then send me your current working core.

I checked, I've got an extra core. Send yours back. I think I can do one with TPS and speed, it really just depends on how much room there is inside the ecu.

My shipping address is:

I added a row of screw terminals to the top of the ecu with the rpm and an extra ground pulled out. I think I've got room to add everything. The idea is to make hooking up a Greddy MSS (or other RPM switcher for a VE) as easy as hooking up a stereo, no more cutting and splicing wires. I could probably do the same thing for connecting an AFC or E-mange, it just depends on how much room I've got under the hood of the ecu. I might have to go to some small connectors if your trying to splice into alot of the lines.

I'll post a pic when I redo the ecu.

Sorry guys, I picked up some more contract work thats worth just slightly more money than this stuff.

I will not do the B14 boards, I will not do any more special B13 boards, I will no longer just send chips out in the mail, and I will not repair anymore consult boxes. I will still sell and install the B13 boards, but if I can't keep those up in a timely basis I will stop doing that as well.

Anybody thats waiting on special stuff will get it by the end of this week. PM me or post in this thread if your waiting on something.

My online time is going way down too, so if you send me a PM or post something I will probably not respond very quickly.

On the subject of consult boards, I'm making these public domain. I don't have time to deal with these right now. If you want some, order a batch and resell them to other people. I've posted the board artwork in the thread with the build instructions, but heres the link:

http://www.sr20forum.com/attachment....tachmentid=182

Order them here: www.barebonespcb.com

Quantity discount is where its at.

The size is 3.15" x 2". When you order make sure and put your name on the end of the text file. The NC drill is a drill layer, the .top is top copper, the .bot is bottom copper, and the rest are misc artwork. The artwork does have my name on it, you can remove that if you want. You've got my premission to use this however you want, sell them for a profit, change it, whatever.

Have fun.

Oh, the connectors I got surplus and can't get any more. You guys get to figure that one out on your own.

If I stop doing B13 boards I'll make that public domain too. I've been really close to doing that already.

dissapointing, but quite noble of you to offer to make them public - although I don't need one, I think curiosity will drive me to try and build one then!
