Twist on MAF airflow

How do you go about remapping for a VG MAF? I see a lot of people just changing the K value. There has to be more to it than that! I have an S13 with a RB20DET. It has an 80mm MAF just like the VG30,

BUT the RB20 uses the same voltage range as the SR/KA MAF, so moving to an RB20 MAF from an SR would just be a calculation of K value.

The VG MAF is the same daimeter but uses a different voltage scale... Just pulling #'s out my a$$ here but... On a RB20 maf 200cfm of air will equal "x" but on a VG MAF it will equal "y" (y being less than x). The RB20 MAF is suposed to MAX out it's voltage range at approx 325rwhp. THe VG is good for 500+rwhp. I would guess you would need to import a VGMAP from a Z32 300zx .bin file? how would you do that? In a rom editeor for the Z called Z control, you can see the VG table as numerical values. In ROM Editor it is only a 2d graph... What gives?

Any help would be much appreciated.

How and where do you enter taht into ROM Editor? Also, I assume that address is for an SR? Will it be the same address for a KA. We are tuning several different cars here other than the SR's. Thanks for the help.

Another stupid noob question, and I think I'll be good for a while:

When changing MAF's or Injectors, you change the K value by a modifier #. I saw on another forum where you apply that modifier to the boost tables as well.... true? I assume you do not apply it to the entire fuel table.

Also, when changing to a different MAF with thwe same voltage range, lets say SR20 with a RB20 (80mm) MAF, do you modify the VQ table then as well or just with the Z32 MAF?

Thanks

if anyone knows the actual flow rates of any maf, and is willing to share, im sure that would help everyone.

something i have been messing with, is if you know the flow rate of an injector, and k value, you can figure out out much fuel is being injected along the tp scale, ie take vq values, work out tp's, convert to on-time, convert to flow rate, then you should be able to back out how much air is coming in, and then alter k's to new mafs, so if anyone knows the max flow of any maf, i could see if my calcs are correct, and pass info on.

A Z32 MAF flows 2.2 times the amout of air (not hp) that an SR20 MAF does.
