Got my 1st burner today! ???

I got my first burner today. It's a Willems dual power...

I got it setup and have read the stock rom that I pulled from my ECU when I socketed it.

When you write a new bin file to it, do you need an .adr file for the rom writer or do you just load the .bin?

I ordered some chips the other day and they should be here Mon or Tues. I guess we'll see...

Burned my first chip last night. Just a simple stock map witht he rev limit raised 200rm and the speed cut removed. The car runs good, but is difficult to tell if the changes were effective. My tach is much slower than my engine revs, so the difference between 7800 and 8000 is hard to tell. Obviuously havent checked the speed cut on a public roadway. That would be illegal

set the speed cut to like 40mph, its an easy way to test it. You hit 40mph and it cuts, your changes worked like a champ.

Thought about that... and setting the rev limit to about 5000. But didn't want to waste a chip... I have no way to erase them at this point. Gotta get a UV eraser.

Any one in particular recommended?
