Bobby, I've been trying to e-mail you but haven't got a response. I have your ecu done and ready to ship (I've had it done for a week), but have question. You wanted a gtir tune with a z32 and the 444 injectors at 3.5 bar. Why 3.5, why not 4?
I'll post the tune Monday for everyone else to make this post worth something.
I haven't received any e-mail. Did you try to PM me, I have been getting those from others. Would 4bar be too much? I had searched and asked around and was told that 3.5 bar would be good, is it not?
Bobby: Sorry, I don't use PMs. For some reason both e-mail servers I use must have problems sending to yahoo.com accounts. On the ecu: the thing you don't loose anything running at 4 bar versus 3.5 bar, so you might as well have the extra injector size. The Z32 maf should outflow the injectors, even at 4 bar. Thats a good setup, you'll have plenty of legroom with that combo.
Killdannow: Actually the neat thing about the way Nissan ecus work is you don't have to touch the fuel map when you resize for different injectors. The fuel map is a multiplier, not a specific injection time. There's a master variable ("k") thats you adjust for the injector size (and the maf size too). The fuel map adjusts the injection time calculated with your k-value by a given percentage (the percentage is whats actually in the fuel map), so hence changing injectors doesn't require changing the fuel map. Note: when you change injectors you also have to change the latency value for the injector, but because he's running stock injectors just at a higher fuel pressure the latency value is the same as stock.
Sorry, missed your reply. Your tracking number is above. You got the standard NA program, I'm not sure what I called it when I uploaded it here (NA4?). It will run just fine.
