How to change idle rpm?

Hello guys!

I have a highly modified SR20DE w 12:1 compression ratio, and some aftermarket cams, so I need to change my idle rpm value. I'm in process of buying JWT C3 cams, so I really need to set my idle rpm to something like 1300 or 1400...
I have dautherboard in my ECU, I have EEPROM programmer, so I can change it by myself. Who knows how to change this?

Thank you!

The idle table is at $0660 on a B13/S13 ecu. The value * 12.5 = idle, and the table is referenced vs coolant temp.

Add these lines to a Rom Editor adr file:

#Add.map7
ADD_MAP7,&H0660,16,1,16,1,Idle map

So for a 1400 idle just raise the smallest values in the table to 112 in Rom Editor.

thanks, Calum!
I found that map!
I see just 2 additional maps (plus idle map) in my current romeditor's config...
Is there are any additional maps available, which I need to know?
I want to know everything about my ECU!

Lol, that depends. There are about 50 maps in a B13/S13 ecu, but most of them you can leave alone. It depends on what your doing.

Calum, we need to setup a WebEx meeting or something so you can give us a live class on this!

Calum, it's great! Can you just describe a little these maps?
Or just give us an addresses with short description, in the form as you gave me idle map adress:
Quote:
#Add.map7
ADD_MAP7,&H0660,16,1,16,1,Idle map
Thank you a lot!

Calum, one more question.
How can I change ignition advance at idle rpm?
I hear an opinion what here is an additional map in B13 ecu to control idle ignition advance.
Or I will just chage it at ignition map for corresponding RPM?
