Using Calumsult .07 I was unable to get a complete rom dump using a modern, powerful laptop with a USB to Serial adapter, yet I had no problem dumping the same ecu with an ancient IBM PII laptop going directly to the serial port. The USB adapter otherwise works perfectly and I can monitor and datalog to my hearts content with it. Does the USB adapter throw off the timing of the Calumsult dump routine???
