B13/S13 known map addresses

Please do not post this on other forums.

By request, here's the big chunk of my list. Lots of this is only written down in my notes, I'll sort through all those eventually.

It needs the units and x-axes added, if someone wants to work those out I'll update the list. Or someone could put it in a better format. Excel maybe?

This is probably missing some of the newer stuff thats been documented, and may have some errors in it. Post it in this thread and I'll correct it.

Anybody want to sticky this?

Wow! Thanks!
A bit more, I've discovered them today.

$4A0-$4AF - Cold start timing advance
$4B0-$4AF - Desceleration (Cold?) ignition timing advance

$4C8-$4CF - Idle stabilization timing retard
You know, your idle timing is jumping if you have huge cams: try to set this map to lower values - you find your timing pretty stable!

My current setup for JWT C3 Cams is:
$4C8: 00 00 00 00 00 00 02 04
Do not set it all to 00 values - it's my suggestion! ;-)

Calum, please test $4F0-$4FF and $500-$50F if you can. There are 2 ignition maps, I think. I have no time to test them - I'm going to competitions at weekend.

Added. I won't have a chance to do anything until monday. We need to document how to build an engine simulator to make this stuff easier. I wrote some code to do the distributor signals, I need to post it.

Good find on the idle stabilization!

What are the first four bytes at 04C0-04C4? Any idea?

question, when you refer to these codes applying to the S13, is that only the SR20 S13, or would this stuff be compatible on the KA?

Yea, I need to post an update for this.

Emulator is just about done. V0 has been running great for a while, V1 should be in testing later this week.

Ah, thats interesting. 0AD0 is a percentage multiplier applied to 0AC0. I'll have to see if I can simulate this.

I was looking through the S13 xdf and I noticed these 2 items-

00D0 - Cold Start - Moving - Secondary

and

0FC0 - Throttle Enrichement - Fast Movement

are using the same address "00D0"

Perhaps xdf needs updating?
