91-94 Stock SR20 bins

Hey everybody,

I have a weird problem with a customers ECU that I just reprogrammed for a DET with 370cc and a stock maf. Now the problem is that sometimes I get a MIL. I turn off the car and it goes aways, but sometimes not always the MIL comes back on. A forum member approached me with a problem not so long ago and told me that he was having trouble with this bin on his ecu. What i'm thinking is that I need a different base bin. The problem with this is that at the moment, this car does not have the consult port working ( it started out as a GA converted to DE-T). I was wondering if you could share all of the different years for the B13 SR20 Bin. Please specify the part number on the ecu please. At the moment I do not have a B13 ECU but this one. From now on I'm going to be gathering all the base bins that I can. TIA and sorry for the long post.

I ran this BIN on my car for 2 months without an issue (EGR removed). Look at my setup below.

Have you got the pn of the ecu you need? I've probably got it.

Btw, I've used that US_DET as the base for a bunch of programs and never had a problem.

That's the problem, the part number was scraped away from it. I've also used that US_DET bin on a few other cars without any problems whatsoever. It's weird I tell ya. Sometimes all of the sudden I get a MIL, I turn it off and start it back up and it goes away.

Have you got a spare wiring harness head? Its dead easy to set up a B13 on the bench and wire in a consult port. All you need is power gnd and the consult pins wired. Any power supply in the 10-15V range and .5A can power it (cheapie wall-warts work fine).

Then just pull the db and reset the jumper and dump the stock rom.

Btw, if its a 94 B13 ecu you need to jumper a couple of pins to get the ecu to turn on the consult port. 94 ecus suck.

Ok, I was able to extract the OEM data from the ECU. The part number is 23710-64Y01 or A11-B20 BZ0. It's from a 91 B13 with Federal Emissions and a manual tranny according to JWT's chart. Here it is;

File Type: bin 64Y01.bin (32.0 KB, 74 views)

I am having the same problem here. The car is a 1994 Ser with 370cc and stock mafs. Ecu is a 1994 Federal. Runs rich at idle and lean out at WOT. Unplugging the mafs i can still rev past 3500 rpm. It seems like there's a problem with the rom. Im going to try to use a 1992 ecu to see if it helps.

Are you using a '94 program? 94 ecus are wierd, don't use a 91-93 program on them. If you look at the stock 94 program you'll see its much like a B14 program.

The 93 ecu should work just fine.
