Rom editing programs

There are several rom editing programs out there. I thought a thread listing the different programs and other apps, excel files, etc would be good.

For starters, Rom Editor is the grand daddy of them all, and still quite good. The engrish sucks and its not explanatory, and some bits are just plain wrong, but its still good. I've attached it, its not indevelopement anymore so theres no reason not too. Use the ADR files in the ADR thread that correspond to a particular rom.

I've been playing with Live Edit, albeit not live yet, and its getting better. I won't attach it because hes still writing it. You can find it here:

http://www.engineers.auckland.ac.nz/~lmoo016/

I've written a couple of apps myself for doing things like rescaling the TP axis, but I never intended anyone else to use them. I'll slowly polish them and post them if I get the time. I've got some excel files I'll post sooner.

What do you guys use/have?

Edit: Rom Editor is attached!

Here's a good program for viewing your bin file and localizing where things are.

Looks like he's working on a new version:

Quote:
website wont be back up on that address as i changed jobs

ive re-written it all from scratch - so theres no more liveedit (and someone else is using that name before me for webdesign stuff anyways)

i'll get another website put up sometime when theres something usefull to say

at the moment the new software is being tested and debugged by the guys that got me my second emulator anyways - so when its "done" i'll sort out a web site now...

someone said that the installer and all the patch files for live edit were on here somewhere anyways - just get them and use them Smile
