No pictures yet. I'm going out of my mind trying to get the DET swap and the wedding sh*t ready.
All the shop did was cut about 3 inches after the cat flange and sleve the pipe conected to the cat. They slid it in untill it fit snug everywhere else and welded it up. All the hangers line up and everything and it looks awesome.
After I get the DET in I'm going to overhaul the web site with tons of pictures. The weekend of the 20th is my deadline. As long as I get my FMic from HS by then it should be running that following Monday.

Thanks for the info, Mike.

You're a bigger man than I am - handling your wedding and DETBB swap concurrently! Got married just over a year ago - quite a memorable experience before & after.

Good luck with both - I'll be looking forward to your updated Website.

once again, I will see what I can do with any of this. I am pretty sure that we sell the whole thing for 475, but then again, I'm not a salesman, so I am not positive, but I will see what I can do.

Mike G - question for you:

Do you have any pics of your newly installed B-pipe? I noticed your website still has the "original" custom exhaust pics. I'd like to see what your shop did during the install (cutting/sleeving/location). I know you are only 2 days away from your wedding(congrats) - just wanted you to know I'm interested in your install.

Thanks,
Chris

Well, I spoke with Steve today, and he said the package deal *IS* $475 (B-pipe and Muffler). That's still more than I need to spend now, so the B-pipe is on it's way!!!! It should go out today, as I beat the 3pm Central shipping time. I'll be looking for it by the middle of next week, and hope to have it on by Friday night(I have our Model Shop Manager's blessing to cut and re-weld the flange on!) I'll let you know how it goes.

Thanks all for the various info provided!

PS - He said that gaskets are not included.

The local mufler shop charged me $25 to cut and sleve it and that including gaskets.

I pulled the vc off the DET last night. Its not the prettyest sight but it looks better than mine The turbo is clean and spins freely. Everything is intact eg.vacume hoses and all the other sh*t. I just have to scrape the gasket goo off the vc so it dosen't get in the head. I don't know WTF they used but it crumbles when you touch it witch makes it a PITA to get off safely.

Now I have to go get ready for the wedding eg... drink some jack n' coke's have some beers

Later on,
Mike

Wow, it IS beautiful! You're right, Brian, I wish it could go on top of the car.

Today she goes under the knife at work. It'll be interesting to hear/feel the difference with the stock muffler. I'll get the Courtesy muffler this fall when the Mrs. starts teaching again.

PS - No gasket on the muffler flange.

Picked up my Nissan OE "b-pipe to muffler" gaskets today - strange, round, metallic o-rings. I.D. is 1.5" - way too small to mount to my Courtesy B-Pipe(they'ed fall right in!)

Called Steve at Courtesy today - he said that particular gasket *IS* part of the package. It is made for Courtesy and included with each B-pipe. Mine was missing, however, so he cut me a good deal on the muffler section(very helpful fellow). Brian is looking for a gasket to send with it (thanks, Brian). I hope it comes with some stickers this time(hint, hint).

Wish I could go to the convention this year to meet everyone, absorb knowledge, and drool over all the cool stuff. There's always next year......

chris, I could not find a gasket, but I found an oe gasket that will work with a little modification, but if that does not work, give us a call and I think we are trying to get in some gaskets in stock just because, and also, no stickers, but just order a few oil filters or something and I will throw some in.

OK, I appreciate your help, Brian. I'm really excited about putting this exhaust on my car! I'll let ya know when it's done, or if I have any problems. Hope yall had a "dragger" tip (3.75") in stock for me.

It did come yesterday, Brian. Thanks, again.

On a seperate note, the muffler I recieved is labeled "Dragger Style", and is the 5" tip. On SE-R.net, they refer to this larger tip as the "Greddy Style" tip. They refer to the 3.75" tip as the "Dragger". Either the box is mislabeled or SE-R.net is misinformed.

Brian, you said you also bought the "Dragger Style" muff - is it the 3.75" or the 5" tip? I thought I was ordering the smaller of the two, but I don't really care - just glad to have it.

Once again, thanks for all your help, Brian.

Holy cow, Batman - she's LOUD! And she let's me bang against the rev limiter so easily! >;-) Big difference in top end with no noticable loss in low or mid-range.

Installed it last night - no real problems. Had to bend up part of the mid-pipe heat shield, and tonight I will rap the mid-pipe where it crosses the suspension - it's actually tapping against the frame when idling cold, but not while cruising/accelerating. I still have some header sleeving and stainless ties, so only a thirty minute job or so.

If the pics come out, I'll try to post the side-by-sides of the complete stock vs complete Courtesy.

the greddy style has a unrolled tip and is 5 inches, the dragger has a tanabe style tip and is somewhat rolled and about an inch smaller in dimaeter, the other one is big and hondalike, but still nice. oh, did the gasket work?

Well, SE-R.net needs their COurtesy Exhaust page corrected - they have the inverse of what you stated and what I received.

As for the gasket, I chose not to use it. The ID of the gasket was perfect, but the holes would need slotting, and the opening would be too close to the actual "gasket" cross-section.

Instead, I cut some standard gasket sheet to the right size until I can get some of the good stuff.

Now I just want to better insulate the chassis from the b-pipe. Any problems with yours, Mike?

PS - Thanks for the extra effort and stickers, Brian.
