question on ghetto turbo piping

This isn't directed at Mike G. or anything...

Ok, so if I want to go ultra-low buck and just functional for intake to compressor and compressor to TB piping, what can I use? What stuff are you using right now, Mike? If it's *real* cheap I just may bolt that interheater to the front of the car and use it until I get the cash for a GOOD one. An ideal material would be something decently flexible but would not collapse (or bust wide open for that matter) under boost pressure. Any suggestions?

I used 2in od (1 7/8's id) aluminized piping from pep boys($2~/pc). For the bends I *searched* through their back room for pre bent 2in id radiator hoses. I bought the ones that I wanted(some w/90deg bends and sh*t) and cut and pasted them together. It looks like sh*t and loses 4psi but it works for now.

I have a lubricated 8ft ban saw at my disposal so cutting the pipe was easy. It just takes some creativity!

Mike
