I'm leaving in a bit for a 2 day business trip to Nashville with a couple of guys from work and we are wondering what there is to do/see down there. Good bars, "clubs", etc. would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

There is always downtown on 2nd ave and Broadway. Really from Gaylord center down to Riverfront park. you can walk to any kind of restaurant and bar you want.

What kind of "club" are you looking for? If you are looking for the dancing ladies type, there is one on 8th ave south. I can't remember the name of it, since it changes names every year or so. If you are heading away from Broadway, it's on the left, past the Goodyear store and Grayhound station. There is also Ken's Gold Club on 5th Ave south and Peabody. If you are looking for normal clubs, there are a few on 2nd ave. There is a Hard Rock cafe on the corner of 2nd and Broadway. If you are in town on Thursday night, there is a concert every Thursday called Dancin in the District. I think it's $5 to get in. It's at Riverfront park, which is at 1st Ave and Broadway. Where are you staying?

Speaking as a former visitor, the NASCAR Cafe is worth an hour or so, especially if you are into racing history. Their simulator ride is interesting (unless you have been to a Richard Petty driving experience).

downtown. for beer go to either the beer celler, basicly behind hooters....or go to the flying saucer, it has a website google it. its basicly behind union station hotel , old looking train station of a hotel on broadway cant hardly miss it. clubs to dance. club nashville is mostly hip hop its on i think 3rd or the such ask around people can point ya there. graham central is on second by hooters, its very diverse. also has buffalo billards upstairs for decent pool tables. there is always music row which is on the other side of the interstate which has more emo-esk type of bars. vandy area is full of hot college women, thats west end. by the air port there isnt much at all. Lots of resturants. can go up to opry mills and shop, huge mall big theather imax and the grand old opry up there now.
I went to Buffalo Billiards tonight, its a pretty chill place. Also checked out Coyote Ugly which was right underneath it, some of the girls are nice but nothing to write home about. I'd imagine that a Friday night, the place would be truly kickin' and maybe the real hottie bartenders will come out. I'll see what I end up doing tomorrow night. Thanks guys!
Coyote Ugly.. (we have one in ATL) suck... i don't pay my bartenders (no matter how hawt) to cuss at me, throw drinks on me, and basically treat me like sh*t... just give me my beer, bitch!

We went to the one in Austin at the convention, and it sucked balls. It was so loud you couldn't think much less talk to anyone. The girls were ugly too.
