My wife and I have been thinking about hosting a national Spec V, B15 and general Nissan meet down here this summer to give back to you guys that have made FI-R what it is today.. I was thinking that we could rent out the local road course, or drag strip. We could make it into a Friday-Sunday event, with a track day and BBQ/Crawfish boil..
We are located in just outside of New Orleans, LA.. Here's our track facility.

We could set it up so that if you want to run on the road course, you would pay a flat rate for the full day.. and if we decide to do the drag strip thing.. we could just come in during the evening.
It's up to you guys on how big we make this.. I don't mind sinking some money into the event.. but, I need to see some decent interest.
Let's get an idea from a show of hands.. I'll post this up on a few other forums.. You guys feel free to do the same.. Just point everyone here, and we'll sort it all out.
I'd like to hear ideas about timeframe, and what you guys would want to participate in (drag racing, or road racing, car show, food selection, etc..). I'd like to do this during the summer months.. maybe July-September?
