Whats up guys. I am in Florence, and have a 93 SE-R, with a blown motor as of last night. Rod knock, oil everywhere, it sucks. Anyway, this looks like a great time to up the ante, and seriously look at a DET swap. Can anyone recommend shop down here that could do this kind of work?

the best places i know for stuff like that are in atl. unstable hybrids is a shop that does mostly rwd de-t swaps but do fwd too. i can check into it somemore if u wanted. but really swapping in a det into a car that already has a sr20 isnt that hard. i'd try to do it myself if you had some mechanical know how

I have heard it is not incredibly horrible, and if ya can pull an engine, you can complete this swap. I just get worried about the electronic end of the install.

there really isnt anything electronic to install, except plugging in all the sensors. you can use your ecu thats in your se-r right now...it plugs right up.

You are near epik tuning in myrtle beach, i'm sure jeff kite could do it, he's one of the main importer/installer in this area.He mainly does rwd sr20 swap but can't be much difference to doing a fwd.
