Transmission Woes ...

Well in case any of you haven't heard Matt (PlanoSER) blew his transmission at the track today in an unfortunate series of events.

Apparently the bill to get the car towed wasn't to nice.

I wanted to create this post as I thought it would be nice for the people who know him here (or not) to post and offer their sympathies.

UPDATE: the clutch(i thought it was gone) is fine, but i drove over 50 miles with a drained tranny, since the drain plug mysteriously checked out somewhere along US-287 the car was making some godawful grinding and whining, so I called up James to take a look, and he sees the drain plug missing! so that baby was run dry, we went and got new oil and drain plug and put it in in the gas station parking lot.... stopped making most of the noise, now whines a little, but sh*t, i thought the damn thing was gonna blow up. I'm sure that 50 miles of dry operation cant be too good for the trans internals!
