Ennis Results

GREAT seeing a lot of old friends at the Texas Motorplex - thanks to James and Bill for snapping photos for me!

Here is a little recap of my day that you might enjoy reading:

http://forums.mbworld.org/forums/***...&threadid=3502

Still WAY TOO LONG between runs - I only got 3 in by 1:30 and I got there at 8am. As usual - I only got slower as the day progressed.....

Judging by your trap speeds (106-107), I'd say that your CLK55 is a 13-flat car just waiting to happen.

A friend of mine is contemplating buying one just like it. His trade in?

A '01 BMW M5! I cannot believe he's thinking that. Just something about a six-speed.

Good runs. Nice car.

SR20 times?

My best in my '91 classic w/ BB-det was 13.8 @ 103.4 and that was at the crappy track in Temple! Full interior, street tires, tools, crap, and 12-pack a long necks in the pass. seat!

Now awaiting FMAX-3 install...mmmm.

Hey Shell,

I got a video of your run against the turbocharged Lexus coupe. Hopefully, we will get that posted up some time.

And yeah, everyone was laughing at that crappy Ferrari! Everyone gets all excited to see a Ferrari out there, and it runs a 14.97. It would have been wasted by Parker's SE-R! Pacestter power!

Speaking of traps, I hope nobody got caught in all those speed traps in and around Ennis on the way home!

Glad to be of service to Shell and his digital camera. Just drop the Merc off some weekend.

Next time you guys are in Ellis, check out Good Time Charlie's antiques downtown for some funky memorabilia, hubcaps and comics. And do the limit ... revenue enhancement city!

Hey Tommy, did you bring your XE hybrid? I wanted to check that out ... almost bought a 93 XE last year for $2K (seeing as there just aren't enough Classics on the used market, dammit!).

No kidding! I don't know how these guys are finding all these classics in the past few months. I looked for about 6 months or a year and ended up buying on in Virginia!

I wanted to bring out the hybrid, but it is currently getting some help for its breathing. Hopefully, it should be ready soon, and I will be a Ferrari killer! :p
