Smog in AZ

Do they have smog in Phoenix? i read about something called Car Care or something...i dunno. may be moving out there soon. Thanks for the info. I searched but all the threads were older.

If your car will pass in cali. you should pass in AZ.

not the kind of visual you are accustomed to in Cali... However, they do sometimes pop the hood to look for things... But mostly if you have a OB2 car they usually dont check it... Its a cat and mouse game really... I'll let you know how my car does when I take it in... It has tons of sh*t...

They have always popped the hood on all my cars here, just to see if I have an EGR set up, and a charcoal canister, they even looked under my car for test pipes and such. Be prepared for a full inspection, but they might pass you by without looking. I doubt it though
