I "drifted" right into a curb today

yah..right..more like plowed right into the damn thing.

whats more? it was at 12 mph in a fricking parking lot. i was just barely on the gas making a right turn in the parking lot... midturn i let off the gas to swing the car around (it was kinda wet) but the car just pushed. i braked but it didnt bite...car kissed the rough concrete asphalt thingies...

it wasn't enough to mess up the suspension or nothing.. and since the wheels were already turned while smacking the curb, it took a little chunk off of the rim and the tire. at that spot i can see a portion of the lining of the tire peeking out.

the tire hasn't lost pressure, though.. so the damage is not severe.

time for new rubbers...yay

Damn, Tony! that sucks. you should be more careful around those parking lots. with your luck you'll hit a car and do a "Chips" jump and land on an old lady!

dang Tony, i knew u would do that one of these days. Seems liek whenever i ride with u, ure trying to slide around those turns too hard for the dinky 14" rubbers u got on there. Hey, how about some real nice 17" MGRS with good Falken treads on there
