Texas Rally!!

OK boys and girls, after promising to do this for some time, I *finally* nailed down the first Texas Rally in 2.5 years (yes, it really has been that long).

Texas Rally VIII (or is that IX?) will be held Saturday, April 20 at Throttle Position Motorsports in Denton, TX. In the next couple of weeks, I'll get a map, directions, and other things up regarding the event.

For those of you who don't know, Throttle Position Motorsports is owned and run by Vince McCurley, formerly of Courtesy Nissan.

If you are in Texas, or close enough to make it, put this on your calender. I know there are a lot of SR20/QR25 owners in Texas that have never been to one of these events. So plan on this. Hopefully this is plenty of advance notice.

See y'all there.

BTW, if you are from Texas an not on the Texas SE-R Mailing List, let me know and I can help you get subscribed.

Alright! Rally time. I was beginning to think I would never get to go to one of those.

For those of you who've never been (like me), here is a link to the Texas SERCA page, which has some links to pictures from past rallys.

Hope to see you all there!

Kewl, the guys (Vince, Shahram, Farren, Gus) at TPM are personal compadres of mine. And Vince is the new parts manager at Bankston in Lewisville.

I'm not on the TX SE-R mailing list... how do I get on it?

BTW, I could have sworn that I saw an SE-R like yours cruising south on Preston Rd. in Plano this past weekend...

Michael.

It's a chance to meet and greet other SR20/QR25 owners, compare cars and mods. Usually some minor work goes on, but I'll have to check with Vince to make sure that is OK.

Anyone can go. Doesn't cost anything.

Texas Rally

I'm from Madison, Wi., but going to school here in Norman, OK. I am going to this Texas Rally for sure. I haven't had any opportunities to attend any sr20de events, other than the Nopi Nationals. I read on the Se-r.net that it is held in Denton, Texas. Is this right? What IS the Texas Rally? Does anybody have specifics? Directions? Times? It's on April 20th, Right?

do you guys mind if i drive a car that's not SR20 equipped to the convention? the reason why is because my sentra is in the ugliest state of being at this moment.

projector lights are shot. the inner ground wire broke off. this happened to my girlfriend's projector also. called richard at nis-knack.. no help

i'll take my time and take that sucker apart.. see if i can adapt some other bulb to it than H3s. that way i can do HID projectors! hahahaha yea right.

a friend took 2 of my rims off my sentra. and one tire is BALD. ugly rim + bald tire = chick repellant

so is it okay if i show up in another car?

see you guys at the rally! i was in the first tx rally and i didn't even have a car back then. i was 15 or 16.

Well, technically I am in Haltom City but nobody ever knows where that is so it is easier to say Fort Worth. I am off of Haltom Road and 820. Are you near here?
