VIDEO: 2k2 Maxima SE 6spd VS 99Prelude JRSC/I/H/E

We just finished installing a Jackson Racing s00p4rCharg3r on my friend's 99 Prelude base with i/h/e. It took us a few days to get everything right, but we finally finished and decided to go test it out against my brothers 2002 Maxima SE 6speed with injen CAI.

Before the supercharger, the Maxima would walk the prelude from a rolling race by about ~3 carlengths...

After the supercharger, well.. just watch the video

http://home1.gte.net/res0rd0q/vids/scludemaxi.mpg

Notes: The Prelude had 2 people, while the maxima had 3 people so was given the 'jump' at the start.

He dynoed the prelude today, it put down 222whp/192wtq.

P.S. Any DET's want to step up and get revenge for the sake of nissan?? :o

Impressive for a prelude. But IMO, that money could've gone toward a good drag turbo kit and had more power to the front wheels. There is a turbo Lude around austin that there aren't many people wanting to mess with. Almost 350 to the front w/ a stock block and 15 psi of boost. I doubt the honda block will last a long time, but its impressive for the time being!

I'll go up against that SC Prelude any day. Well, not when it's scorching hot, but maybe when it's all cool during the night. From Plano? That's not too far away. Actually, we can arrange multiple Silvia/180SX to race the Prelude. Pick your choice

I raced with a turbo Prelude before . . so SC one will be interesting . . .

Well, I might not be able to take him in a 1/4 mile, but I can go farther than him on a 1/4 gallon!
