I know that for some of us, school is just around the corner. Priorities change and most of us just do what we have to do. I, myself, am returning to College to finally finish up my MBA after a 5-year layoff. A good friend is getting married. Another is moving to another city. So one last BIG SUMMER MEET before we all go. All Nissans and Infinitis are invited regardless of age, race, sex, etc!
Our goal is to see if we can make this happen on August 24.
If you would, reply on who would like to get together. Any suggestions on time, place (Centrally located), or activity is appreciated.
I'll update this thread and our webpage (niohouston.0catch.com) with more information as days go by.
CYC,
So far about 15 cars are coming up to this date. But it's still a couple of weeks before it happens. So I'm sure more will come. Last major meet we had was about 30 cars and almost 40 people. The date is set on August 24. Time and location is still to be announced. If you have any preferences on Time and (central) Location, let me know.
hm.........speaking of location.........how about sumwhere around galleria area?? im thinking about the parking lot across the galleria, its on Post Oak and Westheimer. what do u guys think?
Hey guys!
Evening sounds good for most that had emailed me for Aug 24th. I'm wondering if we should all meet at Memorial while there's still daylight. Anybody up for soccer or volleyball or what have you sport?!?!?!?
Up to this point, we have 15 "Confirmed" cars and 7 "possibles". (mostly Sentras, Altimas, & Maximas oh yeah and possibly a Tahoe if this other guy doesn't fix his car :p ) Anymore people?
Hey Guys,
I've posted some new info on our site. Go to http://niohouston.0catch.com for the latest info on the Aug 24th Meet.
I won't be able to post for a while, but I'm trying to get with Parks and Recreation to see if we can reserve their sand volleyball courts. Any more takers for the Aug 24th meet, please post here or on our NIO Forum.
Also, we are already planning to get together for the Houston Sept 28 Show. It's Import Expo3! We'd like to see y'all come. Post here or at the NIO forum or email me.
Fast93ser, Good Point. It was meant for those that couldn't make it on time that up to 8pm no guarantees that we will ALL be there. But there's an update on our site @ niohouston.0catch.com
Hey everyone,
I placed a MAPQUEST link on the N.I.O. website that shows a map of where we are going to be. For some, it would be from I-10 then 610 South towards the Galleria, then exit Memorial Dr. and take a left (towards east). If you're coming from 59, then it's the opposite where you'll go North on 610 past the Galleria then exit and turn right on Memorial. You'll see a fork in the road which is the main Memorial Dr. to the left and Picnic Ln. to the right. Take the right side of the fork ( I think there is no street sign). Keep on going till you see the parking lot next to the baseball field that has like a psuedo fence of wooden posts. You'll see that the sand volleyball courts are diagonal from the parking lot across the street. OH check out the time too. It's at 6:30p which gives us more daylight
Man... is that good directions or what?!?!?!
If Anyone wants to bring a cooler of drinks that would be cool. Also, if someone has a volleyball, bring it!
