where to get a car alarm in DFW?

OK, after my THIRD break-in in SIX months, I'm gonna try a car alarm (The Club, detach face stereo, untinted windows and nothing in plain view hasn't worked).

Anybody know a good (or bad) place to get one?

go to a reputable shop, no whole in the wall place, look to see how they wire in stuff, you don't want the rats nest of wires under your kick panel. I actually took my old car and got an alarm put in it, and had to rewire the whole thing. sad, but I was 18-19 at the time and could have done a better job. go to an Earmark, Car Toys preferably because they don't hire kids to do installations like quite a few shops do around here...

Alarms don't do any good. unless they are rookies. If you are going to spend money on an alarm, make sure it's not just a noise maker. get one that kills the car.

mobile sound in arlington texas sells some badass alarms, and their install is flawless...they even can order the options where the alarm has a nationwide beeper to let you know the alarm is going off even if you are in a theatre...also you can use your mobile phone to call up your car and disarm/arm your alarm. you can even lower windows/ lock doors and stuff....if so rigged you can even auto start the car with your phone (good for when you go on vacations and need to keep battery fresh)

give them a ring and ask for Monty tell him that Naeem with the 240sx sent you....

It's true they do good work there, but it's a drive. Make the drive to McKinney and I'll hook you up. You should know where I work.
