I'm interested in which one Protec uses.

I need to determine the proper shim height for the valve stems and I don't have a dial indicator. Also, most of the ones I've seen are the magnetic type that obviously won't stick to the aluminum head.

Lewis Shaddoff pointed me towards Kent-Moore tools w/ a P/N for a bolt-down, plate style but also hinted that it may be expensive. I'm hoping this will be a one-time use application so I'm not looking to spend a bunch. Besides, it shouldn't be that dificult...measure this, measure that, the difference is the shim width (not girth), write them down, I buy them.
