Is it time yet?

I wonder if it is time to get rid of my ride. First my struts rattle, I got that fix. Now the tranny wont go into 1, 3,5th but only 2 and 4th. I did replace the pass MM and front MM. What could be wrong, oh yeah and the shift linkage. Help? Damn frustration.

the motor mount does not have anything to do with the way your transmission shifts. If you have a bad mount, you can see the motor have a lot of play(movement). Who did you get the tranny from? was it rebuilt?

Thanks, Brian
for the info. Yeah, I brought the MM back to my mechanic, he called me up the next day stating that he has to take the entire tranny back out, it is toast. I wonder why, must be the used tranny from the junkyard. I ask him about he MM, he said no. But just to be sure, I will put in the Energy Suspension mount on this upcoming tranny. Hopefully this Idiot knows that the rear toward the tranny needs to be replace also. sh*t, I am a doctor, dont want to get down and fix this crap for him too. I know what was wrong, but dont have the tools. This project car has turn into a nightmare.
