Oh man,
my starter just went south. I went to Autozone, ordered one for tomorrow for $ 257.00 Holy God!
Should I go and steal one off the junk yard? any way getting a cheap starter?

if you are going to pay that much, BUY AN OEM brand new. Search the archives for the right one. You can get it cheaper than that. Hey man are you sure it is not $257 inlcuding core charge. ? Give me a call (469)223-6213

Just paid $139.99 for a remanned starter from Autozone. Mitsubishi.

just a couple years old, but whatever. i was quoted like 160 for a remanned starter from autozone about 2 months ago.

btw does anyone know if when ur starter goes when u turn the key should u still hear a click when u turn it you hear nothing?

Take it apart and put some new brushes in like I did. Cost less than $20. Fixed like new for YEARS. I will never buy a reman starter again.

always get the mitsu unit. i have gone through 2 hitachi units so far. they suck
