Are there any DET friendly inspection places in Austin?

Have you tried a place called Alan's inspection on Lamar? It is near Lamar and 51st. If you are going north on Lamar, it is at the SE corner of the next stop light after 51st. Is that North Loop street? Anyways, they passed my car when it had a JDM SR20 with no emissions equipment at all. It was cheaper than most places too. They just drive the car around and test all the lights. That was it.
