high idle rpm when cold?

I've noticed when my engine is cold my idle speed will go up to about 1400 rpm. Stays like this until warmed up and then drops back down to 800 rpm. Is this normal, or a sign of a bad battery or something?

just seemed like it was idling higher than usual. Guess it's just the cold weather.
