pass emissions with no egr?

i have a jdm sr20 in my 91 sentra. is it possible to pass (CT) emissions without an egr valve?

you will fail here in cali because you wont pass visual. do you guys have to pass a visual in CT?

I know here in mass (close..eh?) we don't havta pass a visual under the hood. As long as we pass the sniffer test, they're happy. It's pretty damn easy to pass here..long as safety is fine...I mean hell we only have emissions every other year. And when they do safety, they don't even jack it up;/

Yep no problem. I did it with a nice tune-up on the jdm.

We have testing for Nox, Hc, and CO. No real visual, they didn't even open my hood, but on some vehicles they did.
