Interesting Suspension Link

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/t...5872&f=135&h=0

I came across this link and as Websense at work is stopping me from using G20 I thought I would ask all you track junkies about the views in here. I have a P10 lowport with the same spring rates as the eGT Primera to focus it on one model. I want to get a good ride on the comfortable side of stiff, as I get enough complaints from my wife about the harshness already. I am getting her round to the idea that 108K miles means the suspension is tired and needs updating... LOL. So I want to keep the comfort and put lowering springs on it. I am thinking of Eibach 30 mm drop as progressive gives more comfort, but this has me thinking about the sway bar balance.
Any thoughts about the relevance of that thread to a P10?? in tired factory condition.

Mike

if your oversteer/understeer balance is right now, it'll probably be right after you swap springs (assuming you don't put 1000# springs in the rear). In that link, it sounds like the guy has an endlink binding, thus causing his rear sway to go infinitely stiff - so I don't think you have to worry about that. You should look into getting some new bushings - it sounds like you should stick with OEM rubber for the most part, but you can swap the anti-roll bar bushings for polyurethane and maybe replace the endlinks with heim joints and not have it impact ride quality
