Well, its on the road again! Finally able to rip into the SR again. That stutter after sh*ts/clutch engagement is GONE! I figure having both bolt on the main torque mount helps lol. It was a sudden (2 weeks into owning it) and expensive adventure, but I dont think i'll be bustin any trannys any time soon.
I have a few questions.
My idle before the USDM manifold swap was perfect 750. Now, with the smog crap, it gets stuck at anywhere between 900-1400, and then drops to 750. Is this the result of a slow-to-close EGR valve? Note...the entiremanifold, tb,. etc was doused in cleaner. There are ZERO carbon despoits left!

On my hot shot header (unknown gen) it has all the smog ports, is there a CARB # available for it??? And, is it a smog violation to have a filter on the AIV even though it just sucks fresh air from what would be the primary filter?
